SpaceX Launches Starlink Satellites From California

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. (AP) — A SpaceX rocket carrying 53 satellites for the Starlink web constellation blasted off from California on Friday.

The Falcon 9 booster lifted off from Vandenberg House Drive Base at 3:07 p.m., and minutes later the primary stage landed on a droneship within the Pacific Ocean whereas the second stage continued towards low Earth orbit.

Satellite tv for pc deployment was scheduled to happen about an hour later.

Starlink is a space-based system that SpaceX has been constructing for years to carry web entry to underserved areas of the world.

Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX has tons of of Starlink satellites orbiting Earth at an altitude of 340 miles (550 kilometers).
