California’s Prop. 31 ban on flavored tobacco now in effect
California’s ban on flavored tobacco went into impact Wednesday.
This comes after the Supreme Court docket rejected a bid final week by the tobacco trade to forestall the state from implementing the legislation.
Underneath the brand new legislation, flavored tobacco for e-cigarettes, menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars can now not be bought in shops.
State voters permitted the ban after they voted for Proposition 31 in November.
