A California woman died after falling from a mountain in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park, officials said.

Joy Cho of Simi Valley was hiking in a group when she fell from Teewinot Mountain in the predawn hours of Aug. 11, the National Park Service said in a press release. Park rangers were able to locate Cho, but her injuries were severe and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
