PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ (AZFamily) — Scary drone video captured an out-of-control driver swerving to avoid hitting a UTV before losing control and crashing into a fence in Prescott Valley on Friday evening.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the reckless driver nearly hit a UTV that was driving on Pronghorn Lane between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Drone video captured by a resident shows the driver swerving to avoid the UTV before sliding into a homeowner’s fence. The driver briefly stops after the crash but then speeds off.

The homeowner told deputies the suspect caused roughly $4,000 in damage to the home.

Deputies are now searching for the suspect, who may have been driving a white single-cab GMC or Chevy Pickup between 2007 and 2014. Deputies say the truck’s bumper and headlight debris were left at the scene, so the vehicle will have extensive damage to its right front hood and bumper.
