Over $3 million in winning lottery tickets sold across Arizona

PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Several people are starting their new year with new cash! The Arizona Lottery announced on Monday that multiple winning lottery tickets, totaling over $3 million, were sold across the state.

The biggest winner was a $2,500,000 500X ticket sold at the Mule Creek Saloon in Surprise near Bell Road and Loop 303. Also, in the West Valley, a $191,763 Lightning Fast Cash Double Bon ticket was sold at Tony’s Cocktail Lounge in Glendale near 59th Avenue and Greenway Road, and a $50,000 20X ticket was sold at a gas station in Avondale near Buckeye and Dysart roads.

There were two winners in the East Valley, including a $500,080 winning Powerball ticket that was purchased at a convenience store near Main Street and Signal Butte Road and a $100,000 50X winning ticket from a Fry’s store in Gilbert near Recker and Williams Field roads.

One lucky winner purchased a Fantasy 5 ticket worth $53,001 from a QuikTrip in Casa Grande near Cottonwood Lane and Pinal Avenue. Another winner scored $50,000 from a Sunshine Slingo Trio ticket sold at a Fountain Hills convenience store.

There were also multiple winners in Phoenix! A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at a Circle K near Carefree Highway and 7th Street, and a $50,000 Lady Luck ticket was sold at a Shell gas station near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road.

Finally, two people each won $50,000 from Powerball tickets sold at a Circle K in Wickenburg and at a bar in Tucson. The winnings totaled $3,644,844!
