Over $1.3 million winning lottery tickets sold at stores, gas stations in Arizona
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Several lucky people are starting their week thousands of dollars richer! The Arizona Lottery announced on Monday that nine big wins were claimed last week, totaling $1,351,276.
The biggest win was a $500,000 lottery ticket sold at a Safeway in Chandler near Ray and McQueen Roads. Also, in the East Valley, a $170,276 winning lottery ticket was purchased at a Queen Creek QuikTrip near Hunt Highway and Gary Road.
There was also one lucky winner in the West Valley! The Arizona Lottery says a $100,000 ticket was sold at the American Legion Post 62 in Peoria. A $50,000 Secret Agent Crossword ticket was purchased at a liquor store in Phoenix near 35th Avenue and Buckeye Road, and a $50,000 winning lottery ticket was sold at a gas station in Florence.
Several people in southern Arizona also scored some cash! One lucky winner in Yuma got $100,000 from a lottery ticket sold at a Circle K. There were three winners in Tucson, who all won a combined $381,000! The Arizona Lottery says a $240,000 Fan 5 ticket was sold at a convenience store near Prince and Oracle Roads. A $91,000 winning Fantasy 5 ticket was sold at a Tucson Safeway, and a $50,000 ticket was sold at a convenience store. Congratulations to all the lucky lottery winners!
