One of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen in Arizona passes away at age of 95

PHOENIX – Officers with an Arizona chapter of Tuskegee Airmen Inc. introduced on Might 27 the passing of one among their founding members.
In a press release, officers with the chapter say Asa Herring handed away earlier within the day.
“Asa was a founding member of the Archer-Ragsdale Arizona Chapter, Tuskegee Airmen, Inc., and was very lively in all actions till his well being started to wane,” learn a portion of the assertion.

On the time of Ashby’s passing, officers with the Archer-Ragsdale Arizona Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen famous that Ashby was one of many final three surviving Tuskegee Airmen in Arizona.
With the passing of Herring, it means there may be now just one surviving Tuskegee Airman in Arizona.
