Nikola Corp. stated Friday it’s transferring its Cypress, Calif.-based battery manufacturing making plant to Arizona as a part of a value administration plan.

The producer of business battery-electric automobiles, fuel-cell electrical automobiles, and power options stated its manufacturing Coolidge, Ariz., plant would now embrace truck and fuel-cell energy module meeting, in addition to battery module, pack manufacturing and battery-line automation.

The corporate intends to finish the transfer early within the third quarter, and can shut the California-based manufacturing facility in July.
