PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Valley saw a few light showers overnight, and we have a First Alert Weather Day this Saturday with another chance for isolated afternoon showers.
Most of the shower activity is taking place this morning in Eastern Arizona.
If you are heading out to Westworld, conditions for Barrett-Jackson look pretty good — pack your umbrella, just in case.
Today brings a 30% chance of showers in the morning with highs near 66 degrees.
From Sunday through Thursday, expect sunny skies, comfortable temperatures ranging from the mid‑60s to low 70s, and light breezes.
While Phoenix enjoys mild weather, Arizona’s high country will see a dramatic shift. Flagstaff and other high‑elevation areas could get some snow Saturday, with temperatures struggling to reach 40 degrees.
On Sunday, Arctic air moves in, dropping overnight lows to around 10 degrees under clear skies. Gradual warming and drier conditions return by the end of the week.
This week perfectly captures Arizona’s split personality—from car auctions under desert sun to snow-covered peaks just 120 miles north.
If you’re traveling between regions, dress in layers.
