About the matchup: Sunday’s matchup will be between one of the better rebounding teams in the Pac-12 in Oregon (41.3 rebounds per game) and one of the worst in the conference in Arizona (34.6 rebounds per game). Both teams struggle to shoot from distance but get to the line effectively and typically make their freebies. If the Ducks can assert their will inside, they could be looking at a second win in conference play.

About the Ducks: Oregon finally got in the win column in Pac-12 play after a month away from Matthew Knight Arena, defeating Arizona State Friday by double-digits. Grace VanSlooten leads the Ducks with 15.9 points per game to go with 8.1 rebounds a game, and Chance Gray has upped her season scoring average to 14.7 after a 22-point outing against ASU. Phillipina Kyei continues to dominate on the glass, scoring 12.5 points and hauling in 11.5 rebounds per game.

About the Wildcats: With one of the youngest rosters in the Pac-12, the Wildcats are led by sophomore Kailyn Gilbert’s 16.4 points per game and fifth year Esmery Martinez’s 10.6 points per contest. Another team that struggles to shoot it from range, the Wildcats also rely heavily on touted freshmen Jada Williams (7.3 PPG) and Breya Cunningham (8.3 PPG). Adia Barnes’ squad has defeated Arizona State and Utah in conference play and lost narrowly to Colorado and in double overtime to Oregon State Friday.
