In line with an announcement issued by police, 27-year-old Sean Patrick McConnell allegedly jumped from the overall admissions bleachers on the WM Phoenix Open’s sixteenth gap and went onto the course. From there, he ran via a participant entry tunnel to the seventeenth gap.

“McConnell continued his disruption of the event by leaping into the water and swimming to the center of the water hazard. McConnell ignored instructions by officers to right away exit the water. He ultimately complied and swam to the 18th gap the place he was positioned below arrest,” learn a portion of the assertion.

McConnell, in response to police, was by no means bare throughout the incident, and was not injured. He’s accused of trespassing, disorderly conduct, and failure to obey a lawful order from legislation enforcement.
