6 Arizona schools earn Blue Ribbon designation award
PHOENIX — Six colleges in Arizona had been acknowledged as Nationwide Blue Ribbon Faculties on Friday by the U.S. Division of Training.
In Maricopa County, 4 colleges obtained the exemplary excessive performing colleges honor; Notre Dame Preparatory Excessive Faculty, Weinberg Gifted Academy (Chandler Unified Faculty District), Cherokee Elementary Faculty ( Scottsdale Unified Faculty District) and Vista Del Certain Accelerated Academy (Laveen Elementary Faculty District).
The popularity, a broadly recognized image of exemplary instructing and studying, is predicated on a college’s basic efficiency or enchancment in closing achievement gaps in pupil subgroups, the Division of Training mentioned in a press launch.

The Division of Training acknowledged 297 colleges for 2022. Since its institution, the Nationwide Blue Ribbons Faculties Applications has granted about 10,000 awards to over 9,000 colleges.
