ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The winter has brought in a lot of storms out of the Pacific Ocean loaded with moisture and strong enough to generate high winds, and there are several more of these storms lining up for Alaska.

Southcentral sees weather changes starting Friday. Anchorage’s chance of snow comes from Saturday night to Sunday.

The Aleutian chain and western Alaska are seeing the highest impacts from the cycle of storms. High winds, snow and blowing snow have brought blizzard conditions to coastal communities and even some inland locations.
