A Level 3 ‘GO’ LEAVE IMMEDIATELY has been issued for the remote cabin community Gold King area due to the Saint George Fire (#246). 
The area affected spans from the confluence of Gold King Creek and the Wood River, following the Wood River southeast for approximately 10 miles, then southwest back toward Gold King Creek, including cabins south of the airstrip. 

Fire activity is high as it spreads through dense black spruce. Cabin owners along Wood River need to be aware of the increase in fire activity.
