ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – This week’s Picture Alaska is here!
The month of May is underway, and it sure would be nice to move on to some sunshine and warming temperatures after all the stormy and wet weather we had in April.
We will show you gorgeous sunset views, to twilight highlighting Sleeping Lady, aka Mount Susitna.
Then in Nome you’ll see some antennas from a cold war communication system. It was called WACS, or White Alice Communications System. and finally a sky show of sundogs and halos.
