Multiple storms for Alaska this week

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Chilly air and wind are mixed in some dangerously low wind chills for the northern coasts. A warning for wind chills right down to 70 beneath is in place for the jap Beaufort Coastline and a wind chill advisory covers the Western Arctic coast, the place wind chills will get right down to 55 beneath zero.

That is going to be a quick and livid week of repeating storms, hitting the Aleutians and Bering Sea with moist and windy winter climate. And Southeast Alaska can be in line to get some vital impacts too.

In a single day and Tuesday the area sees combined showers. That can give a while to residents of the Panhandle to take care of the rain and snow it acquired over the weekend.

Southeast will get one more inflow of rain and a few snow as a big low takes intention on the area Wednesday evening to Thursday.

Sizzling spot for Alaska Tuesday was Ketchikan with 47 levels.

The chilly spot was Nuiqsut at 46 levels beneath zero.
