Alaska Airways and non-profit group Spokane Fantasy Flight have teamed as much as fly unprivileged kids to the ‘North Pole’ for the fifteenth yr.
On December 10, 2022, 60 kids from Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene departed Alaska Airways Flight 1225 from Spokane Worldwide Airport (GEG).
The kids have been welcomed with Christmas festivities on the airport. Onboard, they flew with flight crew dressed as Christmas elves and Santas. The flight circled for 40 minutes earlier than touchdown within the ‘North Pole’, a hangar on the airport designed to seem like Winter Wonderland.
The Spokane Fantasy Flight expertise has been working for the previous 25 years. In 2021, 56 kids from Spokane traveled to the ‘North Pole’ throughout the international pandemic.
