2 injured in Talkeetna helicopter crash

TALKEETNA, Alaska (KTUU) – Two troopers had been injured when a navy helicopter crashed on the Talkeetna Airport on Sunday afternoon.

An FAA net digital camera first exhibits the downed helicopter on the airport at 2:31 p.m.

In accordance with U.S. Military Alaska Media Relations Chief John Pennell, an AH-64 Apache helicopter was collaborating in coaching when it went down. He stated the troopers had been taken in for medical therapy.

Pennell stated he doesn’t know the reason for the crash or the extent of the troopers’ accidents. When reached by Alaska’s Information Source on Sunday afternoon, Pennell stated was on the brink of go to the crash website.

Pennell stated the Apache helicopter is assigned to the twenty fifth Fight Aviation Battalion at Fort Wainwright.
