Texas man charged with murder after fatal shooting of girlfriend’s daughter

A Texas man was charged with homicide Friday after he allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend’s 16-year-old daughter, in keeping with officers.

The teenage woman, recognized by household as Lauren Juma, was pronounced useless after having been shot a number of instances.

Harris County deputies arrived on the scene at about 1 a.m. Friday morning after they had been notified by Juma’s sister that their mom’s boyfriend had the 16-year-old held captive inside his residence.

Harmon was standing outdoors the house when the incident occurred and stated authorities had been already there when she arrived.

“By the point I bought there, the police had been already on the market looking round the home,” she stated. “I used to be there about three minutes earlier than I heard two gunshots go off, and I ran towards the home.”

Upon arrival, authorities reported that they had heard a gunshot and screaming adopted by a subsequent gunshot, in keeping with FOX 26.
