Sheriff’s Department seeks assailant in fatal shooting in Compton

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division is investigating after a person was fatally shot in Compton Sunday afternoon.

The person, whose identification and age weren’t launched, was discovered by LASD deputies as they responded to a reported assault with a lethal weapon within the 1400 block of Temple Avenue, the Sheriff’s Division mentioned in a information launch.
