Authorities with the Los Angeles Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver, who left a pedestrian with severe injuries earlier this month in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Valley Glen.

Surveillance footage near Sherman Way and Coldwater Canyon Avenue captured the man walking down the sidewalk just after 4:30 p.m. on July 3.

The pedestrian attempted to dash across the street when they were struck by a motorist, who police said made no attempt to stop, identify themselves or render aid to the victim.
