L.A. firefighters rescue owlet that fell off roof in Woodland Hills

Los Angeles metropolis firefighters on Monday rescued an owlet that had fallen out of a nest on the roof of a Woodland Hills dwelling, officers stated.

A resident known as the Los Angeles Hearth Division to report that the owlet had fallen. The home-owner had already contacted Animal Companies and the Humane Society, however had not heard again from both company.

Firefighters responded and positioned a ladder on a stairwell so they may attain the nest.

“Probationary Firefighter Hayley Denny donned private protecting gear and thoroughly picked up the owlet. She climbed the ladder and efficiently positioned it again into the nest,” Margaret Stewart, a Hearth Division spokesperson informed KTLA in an electronic mail.

The owners had been utilizing the again entrance of the house to keep away from disturbing the remainder of the owls within the nest by their entrance entrance.
