Crews put out brush fire in Sylmar

Crews put out a blaze within the Sylmar space Tuesday night.

The comb hearth burned much less that 1 acre within the space of 12300 North Laurel Canyon, the Los Angeles Hearth Division stated.

There was light-to-medium brush burning in an space with mild wind, in response to the Hearth Division.

No constructions had been threatened and there have been no reported accidents, LAFD stated.

Sky5 was overhead round 6:30 p.m. as crews appeared to have put out the flames. Crews had been to stay on scene to fortify perimeter strains and remove sizzling spots and smoldering materials throughout the burn, the division stated.

The reason for the fireplace is underneath investigation.
