A ten-acre brush fireplace in San Pedro threatened houses Thursday night.

The blaze, which was reported at about 6:15 p.m. close to the five hundred block of North Western Avenue in Peck Park, consumed “medium grass and brush burning in rugged terrain” within the park, the Los Angeles Hearth Division mentioned in an alert.

Aerial footage from Sky5 confirmed the blaze nearing houses and different buildings.

By about 7:45 p.m., the blaze was underneath management, the LAFD added, although the 81 firefighters on scene are utilizing “hose strains and hand instruments towards cussed flames.”

As of Thursday night time, no accidents or structural harm had been reported.
