Three Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were hurt in a crash while they were responding to a shooting in East Los Angeles, authorities said.

An LASD spokesperson confirmed to KTLA that the collision involving two squad cars occurred near East Beverly Boulevard and South Hillview Avenue around 12:55 a.m. Monday.

Video from the scene shows that one of the patrol units had careened off the roadway and onto the curb, colliding with a building and knocking a traffic light over.

All three deputies were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, law enforcement officials said.

The deputies were responding to a call regarding gunshot wound victims that had taken place in the 5700 block of Whittier Avenue, the Los Angeles County Fire Department public information officer said. Video obtained by KTLA indicates that the shooting happened at Los Arcos Restaurant.

At least two people were hospitalized in that incident, according to preliminary reports.
