1 dead after apparently being struck by Metro train in South L.A.

One pedestrian died after apparently being struck by a Metro gentle rail prepare in South Los Angeles Thursday morning, authorities mentioned.

The incident was reported round 7:30 a.m. at 1629 E. twenty fourth St. within the Central-Alameda neighborhood, based on a Los Angeles Hearth Division alert.

Aerial video from Sky5 confirmed the Metro Blue Line prepare stopped in its tracks as firefighters responded.

LAFD didn’t have info on the one who died and it’s unclear what led as much as the collision.
