Traffic clear on Katy Freeway after bridge strike downtown
HOUSTON — Emergency crews have cleared visitors on the Katy Freeway close to I-45 to after a bridge strike early Thursday morning.
A heavy truck hit the Houston Avenue bridge at about 3:15 a.m. The incident closed off two of the inbound lanes.
The crash was reported to be clear shorty earlier than 7:30 a.m.
