West Virginia teacher, aide receive annual honor, gifts
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — The West Virginia Division of Training and Board of Training have introduced the state Trainer of the Yr and Personnel of the Yr at a ceremony in Charleston.
Amber Nichols was named Trainer of the Yr Tuesday evening. She is a kindergarten trainer at Eastwood Elementary College in Morgantown and has taught for 21 years.
“She cares deeply for her college students and group and I consider she will likely be an inspiration for a lot of,” state Superintendent of Colleges David L. Roach mentioned in a information launch. “I admire her diligent work in our public faculties.”
The Personnel of the Yr award went to Jessica Grose, a particular schooling aide at Hodgesville Elementary College in Buckhannon with 11 years of service.
