CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia Republican Gov. Jim Justice introduced Thursday that he’s working for Democrat Joe Manchin’s U.S. Senate seat in 2024, organising what might be a hard-fought marketing campaign in opposition to two of the state’s most outstanding politicians.
Justice, an ultrawealthy businessman who’s barred from working for a 3rd consecutive time period as governor, ended months of hypothesis with the announcement at a fancy resort he owns in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. It got here on Justice’s 72nd birthday.
