Thousands without power in the region

HUNTINGTON/CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – 1000’s of American Electrical Energy (AEP) prospects within the area are with out energy Friday evening after a storm system with excessive winds moved by means of the Tri-State.

In response to AEP, these are the counties with probably the most outages as of seven p.m. Friday:

West Virginia

Cabell – 2,489

Jackson – 1,488

Kanawha – 2,013

Mingo – 595

Roane – 450

Wayne – 920

Ohio

Scioto – 662

Kentucky
