Multi-vehicle crash closes part of U.S. 35

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – U.S. 35 is closed in both directions early Tuesday evening after a multi-vehicle crash near the intersection of Hurricane Creek Road, Putnam County 911 dispatchers said.

The crash was reported around 4:45 p.m.

It’s unknown now if injuries are involved or the extent.

Agencies at the scene include the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County EMS and the Winfield and Eleanor volunteer fire departments. West Virginia State Police also responded.
