Firefighters battle fire for more than 12 hours

LAVALETTE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Firefighters are on scene of a hearth in Wayne County, West Virginia.

Dispatchers inform WSAZ.com the hearth was first reported to the 911 middle simply after 11 a.m. Saturday morning.

First responders handled windy and dry situations whereas they tried to include the hearth.

As of Saturday night, the hearth was nonetheless burning.

Lavalette Volunteer Fireplace Division, Ceredo Fireplace Division, and the Forestry Division are on scene.
