Crews respond to West Virginia train derailment off New River

SUMMERS COUNTY, Va. – Crews are at present responding to a prepare derailment in West Virginia, based on WVVA.

The West Virginia Emergency Administration Division instructed WVVA that the derailment was brought on by a rockslide.

The prepare was made up of 109 prepare vehicles, all of which had been empty. The incident did trigger a number of the vehicles to catch hearth and despatched no less than one locomotive and one gas tank into the New River. Diesel gas from the wreck was seen spilling into the New River.
