Youngsville fallen officer Randy Guidry to be honored in Washington D.C.

YOUNGSVILLE, La. (KLFY) –Youngsville Police Chief Rickey Boudreaux will journey to Washington D.C. this week to honor fallen officer Randy Guidry.

Boudreaux will attend an occasion Friday on the Nationwide Mall in reminiscence of Guidry and 618 different legislation enforcement officers who made the final word sacrifice whereas within the line of responsibility.

A 13-year legislation enforcement veteran, Guidry died July 30, 2021 as a result of problems after contracting COVID-19.

Generations of Youngsville residents will now be capable of journey to Washington D.C. and see Officer Randy Guidry’s identify etched in a walkway on the Nationwide Legislation Enforcement Memorial and Museum.
