Suspect Wanted in Armed Burglary and Assault of Woman in Northeast DC

Police are asking for the general public’s assist in figuring out an armed burglar who assaulted a girl inside her dwelling in Northeast D.C.

The suspect gained entry into the residence within the 3000 block of Pineview Courtroom NE on Thursday, April 6 at about 7:50 p.m., in line with a Metropolitan Police Division launch.

When the girl returned dwelling, the suspect threatened and grabbed her whereas holding a knife. He choked and knocked her unconscious. He additionally mentioned sexually suggestive feedback to the sufferer, in line with police.

When the sufferer regained consciousness, she was capable of escape. Her situation was not instantly launched.

The suspect fled the scene. He was captured on surveillance video.

Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his mid-20s, with a thin construct and quick black hair. He was final seen sporting black Adidas pants with three white stripes down every leg and a dark-colored hooded sweater.

He’s needed for housebreaking whereas armed with a knife and assault with a harmful weapon.
