Stabbing In Northwest DC Leads To Charge For Alexandria Man

WASHINGTON, DC — An Alexandria man was charged after a stabbing in Northwest DC Wednesday, based on Metropolitan Police.

Police had responded to the 900 block of twenty third Avenue NW round 3:14 a.m. Wednesday. In line with police, the suspect and sufferer had been having an argument, and the suspect took out a knife and tried to stab the sufferer.

Responding officers arrested the suspect, William Benbow, 47, of Alexandria. He was charged with assault with a harmful weapon.
