WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a man was stabbed in Southwest D.C. overnight on Sunday.

Man shot in Gainesville, Prince William County police respond

MPD said it was investigating after a man walked into a local hospital with a stab wound. The stabbing possibly happened in the 4700 block of 1st Street, according to MPD.

The man stabbed was conscious and breathing.
