Man on Motorcycle Struck, Seriously Injured by DC Fire Truck: Authorities

A person on a motorbike was severely injured when he was struck by a fireplace truck in Northwest D.C. Saturday.

D.C. Hearth and EMS crews had been responding to a fireplace within the 100 block of C road NW at round 10 a.m. once they collided with a motorcyclist on the intersection of third and E streets within the Judiciary Sq. neighborhood, the hearth division mentioned.

The motive force was taken to a hospital with severe accidents, authorities mentioned. Nobody on the hearth truck was harm.

“Metropolitan police main crash unit is investigating the collision. We’re additionally, the D.C. Hearth and EMS Division, dealing with an inside investigation into what occurred right here,” Jennifer Donelan, the chief communications officer for the hearth division, mentioned.
