Man is slain in Southeast D.C., police say
A man was shot and killed Tuesday evening in Southeast Washington, D.C. police said.
The incident occurred about 5:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of S Street SE, said Officer Beth Grannis, a D.C. police spokeswoman.
The circumstances of the shooting could not be learned, and no information was immediately available about a motive or suspect. The name and age of the victim were not released.
