Local Toyota employee honored in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON (WEHT)– An area Toyota worker was honored at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 28. Jenny Bartley and two different Toyota workers had been honored by the Manufacturing Institute (MI) with STEP Forward Awards.

Group Supervisor of Meeting Jenny Bartley was named an honoree by MI and on the STEP Forward Awards. Bartley is a local of Gibson County and leads a manufacturing crew of over 1,000 and serves as a one-on-one mentor for girls within the manufacturing business.

“As president of Toyota Indiana, I’ve watched Jenny develop in her profession and tasks,” stated President of Toyota Manufacturing Indiana and former STEP Forward award winner Leah Curry. “I couldn’t be extra excited to see her obtain this nationwide recognition from her friends within the business and I’m proud to have her as part of our Toyota Indiana household.”

The three Toyota winners, together with one rising chief and two honorees, are:

  • Haley Antoine, Engineer – Automobile Mobility & Engineering, Toyota Motor North America R&D, Michigan (Rising Chief).
  • Jenny Bartley, Group Supervisor – Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (Honoree).
  • Earnée Gilling, Group Supervisor – Technical Technique and Planning Workplace, Toyota Motor North America R&D, Michigan (Honoree).

These distinctive girls be part of a gaggle of 23 Toyota workers who’ve beforehand obtained this prestigious honor.
