In D.C., daylight saving seemed like dimness saving

Our first day of daylight saving time, eagerly awaited by so many, appeared anticlimactic on Sunday as clouds hid the night solar, and what we had saved appeared solely to be dimness.

Additionally, the day appeared miscast within the function it’s usually assigned: an unofficial begin to spring. As an alternative, the day of daylight saving proved to be the coldest up to now in March.
