Former U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson Lists His DC Townhome for $6.5M
Former U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has decided to part ways with his townhouse in Washington, DC.
Tillerson purchased the brick townhome from former AOL executive Richard Hanlon and his wife, Pam, for $5.5 million back in 2017. He is looking to rake in a $1 million profit, if he gets anywhere near his $1,139-per-square-foot asking price.
After his brief tenure in the job—from which he was ultimately fired by President Donald Trump in 2018—Tillerson claimed the capital city can be a “very mean-spirited town” in his farewell speech to State Department staff.
