DC police investigating after man died in motorcycle crash on I-295
WASHINGTON (7News) — D.C. police are investigating after a man died in a motorcycle crash early Thursday morning on I-295 South.
Officers said a preliminary investigation revealed that the man was driving a Harley Davidson Trike going southbound on I-295 at exit 1C for Martin Luther King Junior Avenue and 11th Street, Southeast around 1 a.m.
Officers said while on the ramp, the motorcycle hit the guard rail, ejecting the man and sending him over the rail.

The man – later identified as 59-year-old Don Coleman of Southwest, D.C. – was pronounced dead on the scene, officers said.
