Barricade Suspect Escapes Burning Home in Northeast
D.C. police are on the lookout for a suspect wished in a barricade scenario that changed into a home fireplace in Northeast D.C. on Friday.
Police had been known as to a home disturbance within the 1300 block of Bryant Avenue at about 5:40 p.m., a D.C. Police spokesperson stated.
Officers stated they believed there was an armed suspect contained in the two-story row dwelling and declared a barricade scenario. Shortly after, a fireplace broke out on the dwelling.
The suspect was gone as soon as authorities received the hearth beneath management and entered the house, in accordance with police.
The fireplace left eleven folks, together with 4 youngsters with out a dwelling.
Investigators are working to find out the reason for the hearth.
