Another USPS mail carrier robbed at gunpoint in DC
WASHINGTON – One other USPS mail service was robbed at gunpoint in Southeast D.C.
U.S. Postal Inspector Michael Martel stated the incident occurred Tuesday night round 5:40 p.m. within the 4800 block of Alabama Ave. SE. Two suspects, in response to Martel, approached the letter service and flashed a firearm. Gadgets have been stolen, and the thieves took off earlier than D.C. police and postal inspectors arrived.
No accidents have been reported.
