5 men injured in Northeast DC shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating a shooting in Northeast D.C. that left five men injured.

D.C. Police said the shooting happened in the 100 block of Quincy Place, NE just after 11:30 p.m.

Once on the scene, police found five men suffering from gunshot wounds. Four of the men were taken to a local hospital and one man took himself to the hospital.

According to the police report, the five men were standing outside when they were shot at. The suspect fled in an unknown direction, the report states.

A nearby apartment was also hit with bullets, causing property damage.
