1 killed in shooting near Audi Field in Southwest DC
WASHINGTON – Police are investigating a lethal capturing that occurred Saturday evening close to Audi Subject in Southwest D.C. throughout D.C. United’s season opening sport.
In keeping with the Metropolitan Police Division, officers responded to the capturing round 8:44 p.m. within the 1500 block of First Avenue, about two blocks north of Audi Subject and two blocks west of Nationals Park.
As soon as there, officers discovered a person who had been shot. He was taken to an space hospital and later pronounced useless.
Investigators recognized the suspect as Kevin Sharp, 30, of Southeast D.C.
Police haven’t indicated what led as much as the capturing or launched a lookout for suspects within the case.
