After suffering its first home loss of the season a week ago, Louisville women’s basketball will look to win its final two games at the KFC Yum! Center starting with Virginia on Sunday.
Though the Cavaliers are at the bottom of the ACC standings, they earned a 77-60 home win over Miami on Thursday night and have won three of their last four games.
“They’ve really been competitive all season if you go back and look at scores, but the pace they play at is really impressive,” Cardinals coach Jeff Walz said. “Coach (Amaka Agugua-Hamilton) has really done a nice job of getting them to play faster. Their guard play is really, really good.”
