Virginia town, schools under shelter-in-place order as ‘armed and dangerous’ man on the loose: police

Residents of a Virginia city have been ordered to shelter in place Thursday as police seek for an armed and harmful man who tried to run over two cops with a stolen police automotive, authorities stated.

Officers gathered within the Southside of Pulaski to seek for Jerrod Celablee Brown, who stole further firearms from the police automobile after crashing and fleeing on foot, the Pulaski Police Division stated.

All residents on the Southside and a number of colleges within the space have been ordered to shelter in place till the state of affairs is resolved, officers stated.

The faculties included Pulaski Elementary Faculty, Critzer Elementary Faculty, Dublin Elementary Faculty, Pulaski County Center Faculty, Pulaski County Excessive Faculty, together with the Faculty Board Workplace.

“That is only a precautionary measure, and there aren’t any precise points inside any Pulaski County Public Faculties buildings,” Pulaski County Public Faculties stated in a Fb publish.

Police suggested residents to not method Brown in the event that they spot him and to name 911 as a substitute.
