Thousands without power in Southwest Virginia after evening storms
ROANOKE, Va. – Pop-up night storms hit some areas laborious early Tuesday night, and there may probably be extra remoted storms that come via our area quickly.
Hundreds have been left with out energy in Roanoke, and tons of have been with out energy within the Danville space, authorities reported.
Appalachian Energy reported almost 2,000 residents with out energy within the Roanoke space, and Danville Utilities reported almost 700 with out energy within the Danville space.
